Hello, my name is Leona Drey, I'm an interior and fabric designer based in East Sussex. I specialise in both residential and small commercial projects.
I believe that art and creativity in designing spaces has both a beautifying and practical purpose. I carefully consider the impact on the natural environment when designing. All the realia incorporated in my designs I source from local shops and trades people and my fabrics are printed in the UK, printed to order, and I upcycle wherever possible. ​

My Interior Design Philosophy
I believe that a home should be a sanctuary where people feel safe, happy and inspired. My goal is to create practical and beautiful environments that bring a timeless and elegant feel to every space.
Many people think that interior design services are expensive, but that's not always the case. Sometimes, all it takes is
rearranging furniture or defining a function of a room to transform an unused room to a beautiful, practical and more usable one. I can guide you in upcycling furniture, giving it a new lease of life, and making your home uniquely yours. Simple changes like adding cushions, hanging a picture, adding a vintage rug or changing a wall colour can make a significant difference. My approach is to make interior design accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from designing one room to whole houses to guiding clients who wish to manage their own renovation, ensuring that your home reflects your personality, meets your needs, and at the same time is stylish and fun.
How I Present My Work

I sketch and draw the design including furniture placement plan that includes lighting and a mood board. I can provide interior styling, colour consultancy. I can also design a specific fabric pattern or one colour print for your interior. I tend to encourage customers to keep or add period features. I love adding colour with a modern touch to reflect the customers' personalities and I adapt the design to the customers' lifestyle.
